About Priest Lake State Park

The park is open to the public on Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 5 pm and on Monday and Tuesday from 10 am to 4 pm.

Priest Lake State Park is located 400 feet above sea level and offers a wealth of beautiful scenery and leisure opportunities. Visitors to the park can enjoy a variety of activities such as hiking, camping, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, mountain biking and much more. The Priestersee offers many opportunities for outdoor recreation in the form of hiking and camping, as well as fishing. Visitors enjoy a picturesque view of the lake and its many lakes, rivers and streams. In addition to a wide range of outdoor activities and leisure activities, the Priestersee also offers variety in summer activities.

Priest Lake stretches for 19 miles and is connected to the stately Selkirk Mountain Range, which is towered high and causes numerous streams to tumble down the slopes. Lake Priestersee, with its steep slopes in the highlands, offers its visitors a variety of activities ranging from hiking, camping, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, mountain biking and much more. Summer guests enjoy a large sandy beach on the lakeside and the clear water is known as one of the most popular bathing and fishing spots on Lake Priestersee.

In winter, the Indian Creek Unit offers a wide selection of snowmobile trails, groomed snowmobile trails and mountain bike trails. The most popular activities include snowshoeing, skiing, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing and snowboarding.

Each of the two units is equipped with electricity, lockable windows, doors and heating, and each has six beds.

Each campsite is equipped with water, electricity, central shower and toilet and is available all year round. Facilities include a shared central water supply, showers and toilets, and access to an outdoor fireplace. All campsites have a picnic area with picnic tables, picnic chairs and tables and a large picnic table.
