About Milford State Park

It is a popular retreat for nature lovers, and there is also a large yacht club in the park. Parking is available for hiking, cycling, camping, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, horseback riding and hiking, and there is a nature centre.

There are a variety of interpretative exhibits and exhibitions, and the park has a number of outdoor recreational facilities, such as a picnic area, a nature center, an amphitheater and a water park. The park has a total of 30 sites, including a sewer connection as well as several sewage treatment plants and facilities.

The park has over 100 improved primitive campsites, a number of picnic areas and a water park with a picnic area.

Whitefish and catfish are abundant in a variety of locations, and the almost rugged rocky bays are home to cappie and large perch. The bay at Rolling Hills and Curtis Creek is a traditional cappsie hotspot and whitefish are common. The Walleye spawn in early April and then move to other parts of the park, such as the creek, creek bed and streams. State Park is an ideal destination for anglers who want to find excellent fishing opportunities at Milford Reservoir.

At the northern end of the reservoir, a permanent water bird reserve has been established, in which many animal species can be found, as well as in the creek bed, creek beds and streams.

The treatment plant will be closed as soon as the water is turned off, but the campsites are open all year round. The water is turned on as long as the weather allows and for as long as possible; it is turned off in the first half of November and turned on again in December.

Frost-free hydrants were removed at the main site, as were the sewage treatment plant, the fire station and the parking lot.

Each campsite has tent hosts during the season to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Most tent keepers provide firewood for a small fee, and all proceeds from the firewood go to the Milford Friends Group.

Most campsites have fire rings and picnic tables, just ask for an additional picnic table and we will be happy to help. If you are planning a large group, please contact Milford Friends Group for more information on the options of the camp.

The area is used by various scout groups, churches and organizations and we have been providing group accommodation for many years, such as campgrounds, picnic tables, fireplaces and picnic areas.

Hickory Hollow is a full service campsite and we have electricity, water and drainage connections. Electricity and water connections are available on all our campsites, as well as picnic areas, picnic tables, fireplaces and picnic areas.

The campsite is located in a tree - surrounded by a picnic area, picnic tables, fireplaces and picnic areas. The landfill is also close to the campsites and has water, electricity and sewage connections, as well as a fireplace.

Cedar Point has electricity and water on the seaside property, but there is no electricity, water or seaside land. The view of the water extends over the Delaware River, the Atlantic Ocean to the west and Cape Cod Bay to the east.

The Cedr Point campsite also has 9 primitive pitches, and 42.2 pitches are available on the campsites with a new shower building at the landfill. Prairie View is one of the most popular campsites in Milford State Park and the site overlooks the lake.

The largest campsite in Milford State Park is the largest of all campsites in Milfords State Park with a total of 14 primitive pitches and 42.2 pitches for primitive tents.

The marina at Rush Creek can also be used for cold drinks and fishing equipment.

You can even have one or two fishing tips, and the marina is open on weekends from 10 am to 5 pm and from 12 pm to 4.30 pm, so it will suit your needs.

Rental tickets cost between $545 and $645 a month for one year or $1,000 a year for two years. Call the marina at 785 - 238 - 4010 or visit their website for more information on leasing a few more slides for next season. At weekends they serve biscuits and gravy, at weekends they are open from 10 am to 5 pm and from 12 pm to 4.30 pm.

An artificial waterfall and a pond are located by the wayside, and a segmented path system serves as a shortcut through the area. The paths connect the campsites and connect them to the main network of paths in the park, as well as to some other paths.

There is a section of the trail that is 2.2 miles long and passes through an ancient quarry where small geomagnetic rocks are found.

The tower is reached by a winding staircase that leads 21 'up to the platform, and the view of the deer is best from the open field as a feeding ground. Milford Lake has the most scenic and diverse area it has to offer And you can ride it up on horseback. Bald eagles can be seen on the shore from November to March and can be observed from open fields and feeding grounds.

The best time to visit is from morning to evening, when most animals are active and the best views are provided by nearby feeding grounds. On clear nights, stargazing is excellent, and on clear nights, Milford Lake is visible from the viewing tower and feeding grounds.

The path connects the Milford State Park parking lot to the main path, allowing you to return to where you came from. It is a linear path, but it doubles the distance and the path allows for more than 1,000 feet of gain and loss in altitude over the course of a day.

In the near future we look forward to horse-drawn campsites that make all three paths even more beautiful. A trailer parking lot is available at the dam, as well as a large parking lot on the other side of the road.
