About Tuckahoe State Park

A quiet country stream, bordered by mostly wooded wetlands, runs through the park and a 60-hectare lake offers boat trips and fishing.

The park offers seasonal activities and special events, and offers horseback riding, hiking, camping, horseback riding and a recycled playground. Activities include canoeing, kayaking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling.

The quad cabins can be rented through a nationwide reservation system, and each cabin sleeps four and is equipped with a bed, shower, bathroom, kitchen, dining area and sleeping area for four people.

The park also offers four pitches for up to 30 people and offers camping sites on the north and south sides of the park as well as on the east and west sides. In addition to the four cabins, the parks also offer a number of other camping facilities, such as four pitches and four pitches for over 30 people.

A central bathhouse, showers and toilets are available, and the park has a number of picnic areas, such as picnic areas, picnic tables and picnic benches. Pets are allowed on the campsites, but must always be kept on a leash and not kept outside the campsite. Canoes, kayaks and pedal boats can be rented at the reservoir from April to October for a daily fee. Tuckahoe is one of the largest parks in the United States with more than 1,000 acres of lakes and streams. The park has a variety of playgrounds and play equipment as well as picnic tables and picnic areas. Ask the park staff for guided tours, but you can only reach into your pocket in a canoe.

Tuckahoe State Park is located on the eastern edge of the state park system, about 30 miles west of Albany, New York. Hiking trails that run through the park include self-guided nature trails, as well as trails for mountain bikers, cross-country skiers, snowshoe hikers and snowmobilers. In addition to hiking, biking and horseback riding, Tuckahsoe State Park offers a variety of other activities including fishing, camping, horseback riding and kayaking.

Walk approximately 8 miles to Tuckahoe State Park, coming from the intersection of the RT and turn left at the intersection of the road.

Follow the signs to Eveland Road, where you turn left at the intersection of RT and the access road to Tuckahoe State Park.
