About Point Lookout State Park

There are many recreational opportunities on this picturesque peninsula formed by the Chesapeake Bay and the Potomac River. Swimming, fishing, boating and camping are just some of the activities you can do in this beautiful bay.

For more information, please visit the official website of Point Lookout State Park and its attractions. This Maryland State Park houses one of the largest densities of Confederate graves in the United States. A prison camp where 52,264 Confederate soldiers were imprisoned during the Civil War.

This vacation rental is located on the eastern edge of Point Lookout State Park overlooking historic Fort Lincoln and its historic fortifications. It is also close to historic Fort Lincoln and a short walk from the main entrance and parking lot of the National Park.

Guests must provide their own transportation to Point Lookout State Park and their hostel or vacation home. Cottages can be used in different ways, such as by private guests, guests with children and guests of other guests.

From April to October, a minimum stay of two nights is required, and the cottages are closed from November to March.
