About Lewis And Clark Cavern State Park
This spectacular cave, which is of course lined with stalagmites and helitian columns, has a long history. It is naturally air conditioned and has experienced geological evolution, history and early exploration. This is a great place to get an insight into the sensitive ecology of the light world.
Plan to spend at least two hours on a guided tour of the cave and plan to use the park as a base camp while enjoying spectacular views of Lewis and Clark Cave State Park and its surroundings. The park also offers a number of hiking trails and a variety of other activities such as climbing, hiking, kayaking, camping and fishing.
