Fields Spring State Park is a 792-acre wooded camping park in the Blue Mountains in Southeast Washington. Fields Spring State Park offers access to Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Columbia River Gorge and is a great place to camp.

The wildflower shows in spring and summer attract visitors as well as winter sports enthusiasts, and the park is open all year round for tents and day-to-day activities. Parking permits are required from 15 November to 30 April and from 1 April to 1 May.

Basalt is the dominant rock in the area due to the massive volcanic flow of the Grande Ronde. The volcano park is named after the early settlers who developed a spring that was used by the neighbouring settlers as a water source for their cattle, sheep, goats and other animals. It is located on the western edge of Rock Springs State Park, about 30 miles north of San Luis Obispo.

In 1974, it was damaged by an infestation with the Tussock moth and behaved itself in such a way that it had to be removed. Buffer Butte was named after a couple who climbed the neighboring Peterson Buttes each morning to look for Indians in the canyon below. When the Indians were spotted, the puffer fish moved their livestock to the top of the puffer and left it there until it was over.

The park has 20 campsites suitable for tents and campers, and also has a number of picnic areas with picnic tables and other amenities. The park also had a small campground with a picnic area and a few huts as well as a few picnic benches.

Each campsite was initially served by a campsite with a picnic area and a few picnic tables and benches. The kitchens with electricity and wood-burning stove were located on the campsites and could be purchased.

Two teepees with eight beds can be reserved for one night and the maximum length of the pitch is 30 feet, possibly due to limited availability. The motorized electric generators operate from 11: 00 to 18: 30 and check in on time at 14: 30; quiet times are 22: 00 to 06: 15; check in times are 13: 00. You can also extend your stay by staying at one of two other campsites, one in the parking lot and one at the entrance to the park. Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance through our parking office (509 - 256 - 3332) or by telephone at 1 - 888 - 527 - 3200.

The park is a popular berry picking spot and has 35 unprotected picnic tables available and those who come first are served first.

The park is located 4 miles south of Anatone, take SR-129 South for 30 miles and turn left at the main entrance to the park. It is also located on the east side of the highway, just north of I-95, about 5 miles northwest of San Diego, California.
