About Dworshak State Park

Dworshak State Park is located on the west coast of New York State, south of the city of Rochester.

The park consists of two main areas: a boat ramp and a transhipment point, and there are many activities awaiting visitors to the park. In most years, the boat ramps and jetties ensure easy launching for all types of vehicles and a variety of leisure activities.

A fish cleaning station is nearby so you can catch as many fish as possible during the day, as well as a variety of other fish species.

Dworshak State Park cabin reservations are available year-round and can accommodate up to five people. Each unit is equipped with a stove, hob and small stove for cooking, washing, drying and storing, as well as canned food and washing machines. Freeman Creek has a wide variety of fish, birds, reptiles, amphibians, mammals, insects, plants and birds.

Visitors to the park can enjoy many activities such as hiking, camping, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, mountain biking, horseback riding and hiking.

The Three Meadows Group Camp is ideal for group accommodation and the large group facility makes it the perfect place to meet friends and family.

Ice cream, snacks and other items are also available and the large Eddy Lodge can be rented for $10 per person or $20 per night for a two night stay. Big Edy's Marina is the largest of its kind in the state, with 101 moorings and a variety of amenities including kayaking, fishing, boat rentals, boat rentals and more.
