About Anderson Lake State Park

Surrounded by 410 hectares of forest and wetlands, the remote, wooded Day-Use Park is rich in birds and wildlife. Anderson Lake State Park borders cedar, fir and eel forests mixed with freshwater swamps. The remote, wooded park, which surrounds 410 acres of forest and wetlands, covers 70 acres near Lake Anderson and is richer in bird species than any other national park in the United States.

The park is near Lake Anderson and is rich in fish, birds and wildlife, bordering cedar, fir and eel forests mixed with freshwater swamps and swamps.

Before it became a state park, Anderson Lake was owned by William F. Anderson, who used the land around it for pasture.
