About Steamboat Rock State Park

Steamboat Rock State Park is one of the largest and most popular national parks in the state of Colorado. Two campsites and a large day area are located on extensive green lawns protected from the wind by tall poplars. The surrounding area is dotted with grey-green scrub and scabies, which are further enhanced by wild flowers, and the landscape is dominated by a series of large boulders and large rock formations, some of which are up to 1.50 metres high.
