About Brooks Memorial State Park

Brooks Memorial State Park is a state park at the foot of the Sierra Nevada, north of San Diego, California. The park offers a variety of natural environments that visitors can enjoy, such as hiking, biking, camping, fishing and hiking.

Visitors can see the pine forests of Ponderosa and Oregon, as well as the Sierra Nevada, the Pacific Ocean and the San Joaquin Valley. There is a nine-kilometer trail that leads to Brooks Memorial State Park Trailhead, one of the most popular trails in the park.

The park offers a group camp that accommodates up to four people with a maximum of four tents and two tents per person. The hotel is located in the historic town of Toppenish, about 40 miles south of the park's main entrance on Columbia Highway. The park borders the Pacific Ocean to the north, the Strait of Juan de Fuca, the Fraser River and Lake Washington to the south and ToPPenishes to the south.

Brooks Memorial is located on I-84, which leads through the town of Toppenish on the south side of the Columbia River, about 40 miles south of the Columbia Highway. If you are traveling north on this highway, you can take the Bigg Bridge to Brooks Memorial State Park and then I / 84 South to the park entrance.
