Squak Mountain State Park is a 1,545-acre park used daily by 1.5 million visitors from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Alaska and Washington State. It offers hiking, biking, camping, fishing, picnicking, hiking and hiking, a network of trails, picnic areas, an amphitheater and a picnic area.

The park is open all year round - for daily use, and riders and hikers alike have plenty to discover. The 1,545-acre Squak Mountain State Park is open year-round and open daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Squak Mountain State Park was founded in 1972 when the Bullitt family donated 590 acres at the top of the mountain to the state. The donation included the condition that the land should remain in its natural state and be opened to public use.

Several other properties have been acquired over the years, and traces of early land users can be found throughout the park, from overgrown forest roads to the remains of the old railway tracks. Massive old tree stumps line the forest along the way, as do the remains of old roads and bridges.

The name "Squak" comes from the nearby valley, stream and village, which was also given the name Squak. The park contains the remains of the Bullitt's summer home, the first of its kind in the United States. The remaining Bullittle's Summer House has a small museum and a visitor centre, both of which are open to the public on the principle of "first come, first served."

There is no water on Squak Mountain, but there is water in the valley below, as well as a small stream, and there are a number of vaults and vaulted cabins on the mountain, some of which are also accessible to people with disabilities.

The trail illustrates the adventure of a field mouse who meets a pretzel tree and discovers its importance for the ecosystem and the importance of the pretzel tree for that ecosystem.

Located in Issaquah, Wash. in King County, the park is one of the oldest state parks in Washington state. The park, located south of Issquah and north of Lake Washington, is home to Squak Mountain State Park and the Snohomish River.

Drive 1.5 miles and connect Front Street to Issaquah Hobart Road and turn right into the park (you can turn left in the parking lot). Drive 1 / 5 mile north of Squak Mountain State Park and then 1-5 miles south on Hobarts Road until it merges on Front Street into Issquah - HobART Road.
