About Mammoth Spring State Park

Mammoth Spring is a national natural monument located in the heart of Mammoth Mountain State Park in Northern California. The spring flows nine million litres of water into the national natural monument every hour, and the river of the spring and its tributary, the Moth River, creates a picturesque lake of over 10 hectares. In addition to the flowing river, the river's water flows through a series of springs and ponds, forming a picturesque 10-hectare lake.

Built in 1886, the park's Frisco depot dates back to the early 1900s, at the foot of Mammoth Mountain State Park, just a few miles from the spring. In front of the station is the "Frisco-Kajüte," which is also worth a visit.

The picturesque park also contains the remains of a mill and a hydroelectric power plant and has an information center that also serves as the Arkansas Welcome Center.

Exhibits tell the history of the region and its natural resources, as well as exhibits about the history of the park. Nearby is the Arkansas State Museum, a museum that displays exhibits about the state's past, present and future. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under, with a $1.50 parking fee.

Other attractions include a disused hydroelectric power plant, a museum and the Arkansas State Museum. The attraction of the park is the circuit, which is accessible from most of the park facilities.
