About El Dorado State Park

El Dorado State Park is located on the west side of the Colorado River, south of Denver, Colorado, and is considered one of the most accessible parks in the state. El Dorados has over 1,100 campsites, offering its visitors a variety of options. Other facilities include a water park, a hiking trail, an amphitheatre, picnic areas and a picnic area, as well as a hiking trail.

The seven cabins offer a variety of comfortable accommodation for all tastes and are available all year round. El Dorado has Bluestem Point and can be booked year-round, and seven cottages offer camping, dining and leisure facilities.

Reservations are accepted by phone, Mastercard, Visa or in person and must be paid at the time of reservation. The reservation is final only after full payment has been made and you must pay at least three (3) days before the reservation date.

We can offer a rain check valid for up to 6 months, but no refund will be given without the permission of the park manager. We charge a deposit of one night, provided the cottage is in good condition and the keys are returned to you.

Bed linen and utensils are not provided, and Cabins 2 and 3 are located in the same area as the other cabins in El Dorado State Park. Cottages 2 - 3: bedroom with double bed or bunk bed, kitchen with stove, fridge and microwave, covered veranda, bathroom with sink, toilet, shower and toiletries.

El Dorado State Park has a total of 1,100 campsites on four different campsites, each offering its visitors a primitive campsite or a full-fledged connection. Some of the storage sites have a power consumption of up to 50 amps, while most have a power consumption of 30 amps. If you are traveling on the Kansas Turnpike, you should leave State Park at three possible exits.

From the El Dorado exit, drive onto the main road and go straight ahead Straight up And you turn onto HWY 54. Take Bluestem Rd and travel 1 mile north on Bluestsem Road and then 1 mile on HWH 254 to the next Kansas Turnpike exit at the intersection with the Walnut River.

Take HWY 77 south to the next Kansas Turnpike exit at the intersection with the Walnut River and travel 1 mile on Bluestsem Road and then 1 mile on HWH 254 to your destination.

Take HWY 177 North to Cassoday Exit and turn right and drive 2 miles to NE 10th Street, turn left and follow this for 3 miles. Turn left, go west on NE 11th St. and then north on HWH 177 and go one mile at the next Kansas Turnpike exit at the intersection with the Walnut River. Take HWH 177 to 14 and go south on 14, then east on 10, turn left at Cassaday Exit and follow NE 12th Ave. Turn right at Cassoday Exit, go two and a half miles on NW 14th Avenue to NW 13th Road, turn right on NE 15th Drive, turn left on NE 16th Rd, turn south on NW 16th Street and west on El Dorado.

Turn right on Central HWY 54 and go east two miles on El Dorado Bluestem Rd, turn left and go one mile to the next Kansas Turnpike exit at the intersection with the Walnut River. Turn left at the Cassoday Exit and turn right and follow Central Highway 54 to Eldorado, follow this for 3 miles and then west on NW 14th Ave.
