About Clinton State Park

Clinton State Park is located in Clinton County, New York, north of the city of Clinton. The park is known for its clear water and good fishing, and is also located on the shores of Lake Erie, one of the largest freshwater lakes in America.

Popular activities include camping and picnicking at the nearly 500 campsites, including a large campsite with more than 1,000 square meters of space for camping. The nearby toilets and showers add a touch of comfort and convenience to visitors, and a wide selection of picnic tables, picnic benches, tables and chairs make Clinton State Park one of the most popular campsites in New York.

Visitors to the park can enjoy white game watching and carefully managed habitats that make Clinton a distinctive outdoor destination, including wild boar, coyotes, wolves, foxes, elk and elk.

Clinton Lake Marina has a floating restaurant, and fishermen prefer to go to Clinton Reservoir.

Clinton State Park is best known for its state-of-the-art recreational facilities, including the state's only kayak and paddle park, as well as fishing and boating facilities. It offers hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, rafting and other outdoor activities, as well as a variety of leisure activities.

Park staff organize several concerts and other special events throughout the year, including the annual Clinton State Park Music Festival and the Clinton County Fair.

Pet owners are obliged to clean their pets and remove them from the park at least 24 hours a day, seven days a week and 365 days a year.

People who know and probably believe that their actions alarm, annoy or disturb others, or behave loudly during these hours, can be fined and removed from the park. Quiet times are maintained from 23: 00 - 06: 00 and then from 11: 30 - 12: 15 and from 13: 45 - 14: 05.

The duration of your stay is limited to seven to fourteen consecutive days, but extensions may be granted at the discretion of the administrator. No person or property may leave the park without permission from the Clinton State Park Manager or any other park employee.

Self-service stations are available at the campsite entrance and the parking office, and the vehicle fees are payable in advance. Self-paid permits are primarily for overnight stays, but campers must register with the campsite owner before choosing a campsite.

A detailed explanation of the parking policy is available at the park office and the operators of the camp. If you stay for several days, you must pay your host within the hours indicated on your permit, as well as in advance of your first day of camp.
