Rockport State Park is a state park in Rockport County, New Hampshire, USA, located on Sauk Mountain, which is about 1,000 feet above sea level. Day - Areas close on November 1 before reopening on May 4, and the park is also at the foot of Mount Sauks, which has a long history as one of the state's most popular hiking trails. The old growth was never cut down, so the entire ecosystem was preserved, creating an environment so dry that hardly any sunlight penetrated the soil.
