About Saddle Mountain State Park
The parking lot is accessible from the east side of the park via the parking garage at the northern end of Saddle Mountain State Park or from the west side via an elevated entrance.
The view from the top is indescribable and must be experienced, but the excursion up is not an everyday forest walk. Come prepared with water and marvel at the sheer amount of natural beauty that is surrounded by wildflower fields and wildflowers around you.
The temperature at the top is very different from the parking lot, so prepare for a steep climb that will make the climb interesting. Wear shoes suitable for the rough terrain, and a nice walking stick or a friend's hand would be helpful in many areas.
When climbing, one should not forget to look at the landscape in front of you and also look for wildflowers and spectacles that can only be kept at this altitude.
Take frequent breaks and enjoy the beautiful mountain views and scenic views from the top of Saddle Mountain State Park.
